WEAR HOPE – DONATE HOPE

To help children in need, BRIGITTE and Save the Children launched the ‘A scarf for life’ campaign with our support in 2014. With your commitment, we have brought the fundraising campaign to a new high in 2023. In its tenth year, ‘A Scarf for Life’ has broken the €3 million mark. What a great result!

In view of your great willingness to donate, we are almost speechless. In 2023, over 26,000 wool packages and around 1,700 finished knitted scarves were sold. Save the Children also received direct donations totalling around 81,000 euros. This raised around 357,900 euros. The total proceeds since the start of the campaign have now totalled around 3.18 million euros! We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and loyal support. You spur us on to do even more for children in need worldwide this year.

Self-knitted or bought: The scarf is a symbol for all those who are committed to helping children on the run. A symbol of hope that everyone can wear and donate. Show your solidarity and wear the scarf on the day of action, Human Rights Day on December 10!

HOW DO WE HELP WITH A SCARF?

From each scarf, 10 euros will be donated to Save the Children aid projects for children who have fled inside Syria or to neighboring countries. This has enabled them to build educational facilities in Lebanon, for example, where children can learn for their future in safety.
