Especially dazzling socks in jewel color tones are created from our bestselling Vintage sock yarn! This high-quality yarn, made with merino wool and featuring subtle tone-on-tone color effect is wonderfully soft, while still producing a strong, even stitch pattern. It knits-up beautiful stockinette, and is also ideal for textured patterns, as the subtle coloring highlights the patterns instead of covering it.Each ball is unique and precious, since the shimmer effect is created by hand-dyeing.

The yarn speaks for itself with 70% alpaca and 30% polyamide. The soft alpaca fiber offers plenty of warmth and is pleasantly gentle on the skin. For thicker socks, the yarn is also available in a twisted 6 ply version! Our cozy sock yarn is machine washable up to 30 °C in the wool cycle. Tip: both yarn weights can also be used to create other pieces, such as shawls, hats, scarves, sweaters… and more!One pattern – eight looks. How does that work? Our printed yarns are designed so that each pattern is knit directly from the ball, meaning it appears as you knit. No charts to follow, no annoying ball changes required.
