Lana Grossa

Issue 64

Colorful leaves, moderate temperatures – it’s easy to love Fall.

Loving Winter, however, is not so easy. Which is precisely why we intend to liven up the dull days. We have selected three themes, each one unique and unquestionably exciting. There are timeless pieces created with luxurious quality alpaca. Or impressive structural knits which arise through the pattern and/or sophisticated yarn effects. Our striped theme serves up a portion of color. As much or little color as you desire, the choice is all yours. Enjoy it!

What is new this season?

In the fashion sense, there is an explosion of color. Fall tones illuminated in warm red, terracotta, Bernstein and brown. Olive is accompanied by radiant green tones, pinched from the jewelers (emerald, malachite). Vibrant orange, pink or blue, transforms knitwear into fashion statements. Alternatively, mix delicate candy tones (e.g. lilac or calming light blue) for stunning looks.

We have kept the classical colors. Out new: buttery intermediate shades like greyish blue. Often the yarn itself creates the look, brushed characteristics give the knitwear a cozy finish and understated yarns deliver a feel of timeless luxury. For natural structure there is irregular wick yarn, Bouclés and Tweeds. The silhouettes remain relaxed. Additionally, seventy’s vibes are in, with square shaped necklines, polo-necks and crochet pieces. To top it all off, there are matching scarf and wool hat combinations – in colors to best suit the look.
